Are you ready to LEVEL UP in the name of affordable housing?!
Get ready to catch your breath and let the adrenaline take over as you send yourself rappelling over the edge of the tallest building in Spokane – the Bank of America building downtown - to help families and individuals in the Spokane community achieve strength, stability, and self-reliance through affordable homeownership!

WHY?
The need for affordable homeownership opportunities has reached a critical high in Spokane due to the Covid-19 pandemic,
said Michelle Girardot, Habitat for Humanity-Spokane’s CEO.

Habitat-Spokane is determined to meet the needs of the growing number of families that enter our Homeownership program. Due to COVID restrictions, this means we have to get a little creative as the pandemic continues to affect large gatherings.

We’d say sending people over the edge of a building is pretty creative.
Affordable housing in Spokane (or the lack thereof) is in crisis. The cost of rent and the prices of homes for sale in the Spokane area have reached astronomical amounts. This has left many low-to-moderate-income families struggling to pay bills, to provide healthy food for their children, or to be able to afford to go to the doctor. Many of the families who partner with Habitat-Spokane are HARD WORKING and are ready to commit to bettering their living situation for themselves and for their children.

YOU are the difference!
Your donations, combined with thousands of hours put in by our volunteers, keeps the cost of building Habitat-Spokane homes low. We can then sell these homes at an AFFORDABLE price to each family that completes their partnership with us, making sure they will be paying LESS THAN 30% of their income on their mortgage!
